Unburden yourself to God,
Give Him all your cares,
Tell Him all that's on your mind
And the things you greatly fear

Unburden yourself to God,
Tell Him how you feel,
Give Him the burdens of your heart
And allow His love to heal

Unburden yourself to God,
The things you've buried deep,
All the hurt you've tucked away
And the loneliness and grief

Unburden yourself to God
So you can start anew
And know a deeper intimacy
That He longs to have with you

Unburden yourself to God
And place in Him your hope,
Knowing He holds you in His hands
And will never let you go

Unburden yourself to God
And walk in victory,
For this is what He's given you,
Both now and eternity.
