Trust God in the Lonely Times

Don't ever let your heart
Sink in deep despair,
Nor let your spirit grieve
And forget that God is near

For He can fill the void
When loneliness sets in
And can brighten up your soul
That once seemed awfully dim

So don't give in, my friend
To loneliness or pain,
For God is there for you
To strengthen and sustain

Through good times and through bad,
The Lord is by your side,
So don't you be afraid,
Or run away and hide

God wants for you to trust
In His never-ending love,
So you can be much stronger
When life just gets too tough

And in those lonely times
When you feel you’re on your own,
Just reach your hand for His
And know you’re not alone.

support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless],
nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold
