God's Love Is...

God's love is always there
When darkness clouds our minds
And when the answers to our questions
Seem so very hard to find

God's love is always constant
And won't change as time goes by,
Unlike the world and how its ways,
Change like the ocean tide

For nothing in life seems to be
Forever secure and stable,
Though uncertain of the world we live,
We serve a God who's able

God's love is sure and will remain,
We just need to draw from Him
And as we pour out our deep sorrow,
His love can then come in

For it's in crying out to God
That our hurt is washed away
And we find our souls refreshed in Him
To face a brand-new day

And though the answers that we seek
May never be made known,
God's love is always there for us,
So we needn't feel alone.

For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt]
that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things
present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height,
nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us
from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
