Do you find you often wonder,
Asking God, "When will it be,
When will I have the breakthrough
And finally be set free"?
Do you sometimes feel as though
The Lord has turned away,
No longer concerned with the turmoil
You're faced with every day?
Do you long for God to see
The tears that fill your eyes
And hope that maybe He will hear
Your silent, desperate cries?
Does God seem awfully distant
As you stumble in the dark,
While the loneliness surrounding you
Begins to grip your heart?
Do you find this resonates
With how you feel at times,
Lost in the turmoil of your soul
And the confusion of your mind?
Draw near to God and listen to
His words soaked in His grace
Let Him comfort and encourage you,
Like a soothing warm embrace
And let His Words reassure you
That you can't escape His love
And remind you that you're His child
Washed clean in His shed blood
And let His Words bring you healing
And breathe life on what has died,
A resurrection that your soul
Is in desperate need to thrive
So, lift up your head from the mire
And from wallowing in the mud
To see Jesus, your Lord and Saviour
And His amazing love.

He brought me up out of a horrible pit [of tumult and of destruction], out
of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock, steadying my footsteps and establishing my path. Psalm 40:2 (AMP)
