 Christian Prayer Poem about the Peace of God

Lord,
Help me cultivate
A gentle, quiet spirit,
To be at peace, calm
And self-controlled in my inner being
Let peace be like a cloak upon me
Protecting me from the affects
Of life's storms
Let your peace be like a spring
Welling up from within,
Bringing stillness and calmness
To the anxiousness, fear
And the agitations of my inner being.
Help me not to give in
To anxious thoughts,
Worry or anger
But to be serene and spiritually mature,
