Devotional: What Does God Think Of Me?

Read: Galatians 4:5-7

Zephaniah 3:17 says, "The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Saviour [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing..." and Zechariah 2:8b says "…for he who touches you touches the apple or pupil of His eye:"

There are many more scriptures in the Bible that tell us what God thinks of us, and what He can do in and through us. He sees you as a person with worth, a person who will go far in life and accomplish much for Him. He has a plan and a destiny for all people. It is a plan for good, and not for evil. He has given gifts to each of us. God has planned much for you. He has given you a gift to develop and use for His glory. God thinks the world of you – so much so that He died for you. You are that important to Him. Maybe you could find some more scriptures that speak of our worth to God and His love for us.

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope". - Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)

God thinks that we are special
And He makes time for us
We are to Him, His dearest friend
For each one of us, He loves.
