He has made everything beautiful and appropriate
in its time. He has also planted eternity
[a sense of divine purpose] in the human
heart
[a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun
can satisfy, except God]—yet
man cannot find out
(comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan)
from the
beginning to the end
Is there more to life
Than what we all can see?
Is there more to who we are?
I think there has to be
Just look at all creation,
Its beauty to behold,
For it reveals a loving God
Who touches human souls
Each random act of kindness,
Every blessing from above
Reveals to us God's tender care,
His mercy, grace and love
For the love of God redeemed us
Through the precious blood of Christ
And sustains new hope within us
And gave to us new life
So, yes, there is more to life
And more that we can be,
For we don't just live, then we die
Without eternity.
