In this section, I have a large selection of Free Christian Sympathy Card Verses, Poems and Words of Condolence to comfort someone at a time of loss—for non-commercial use. These Messages and Sayings are free to use when you don't know what to write in your homemade sympathy card and you're looking for Christian Wording that will complement your cards, ecards, scrapbooks, church newsletters/bulletins or any other craft project - provided you abide by the 'Terms of Use'.

To open closed doors

Love is the answer

Times of grief
Come to us all,
The hurt too much to bear
But always remember
God's everlasting love
And that He is always near

Jesus is there
To hold you in His arms,

All the hurt within

We all need to call
On God's holy power
When we're in our deepest need
And in our saddest hour
God is never distant
He sheds a tear with you,

In His undying love,

Like a mighty rushing flood.

No need to worry
God has it in control,
Just look up above
To His mercies untold
He really does know

Grows and sprouts

The hurt within
When loss has come

God understands
And feels it too,
His arms are there
For holding you

Ignore your pain
But longs for you
