Lord, I call to thee
In the darkness of the night
In all my desperation,
I long, in thee, to hide
Lord, the way ahead
Seems so awfully steep,
But I know your word, O Lord,
Is a lamp unto my feet
Give to me, O Lord,
A light within the dark;
A hope for the future
As you illuminate my path.
